Executive Board Major: Criminology & Political Science Minor: Leadership Hometown: North Judson, IN Why Kappa: The first time I saw all the women of Kappa, I recognized how genuine and supportive they are. This made me feel like I had a home on campus especially since I am a commuter. Ever since then, I have grown such strong bonds with my sister and knowing that I have them around me to have my back is absolutely amazing. Kappa has also given me so many opportunities that I had never expected that have changed my life.

Executive Board Major: Nursing Hometown: Lowell, IN Why Kappa: I chose Kappa because I immediately felt at home. Everyone I talked to was so genuine and welcoming. I was able to feel the unconditional love and support from these ladies as soon as I met them. Kappa allows me to be my best authentic self and supports me. Within Kappa I have met life long best friends who I have shared amazing experiences with. I had no idea how big of an impact Kappa would end up having on me. I couldn't imagine what I would do without having the sisterhood Kappa has brought me.
Camryn Abshire

Vice President of Finance
Executive Board Major: Business Undecided Hometown: Plainfield, IL Why Kappa: I joined Kappa because of the connections and bonds that I was able to form with sisters during recruitment. I was also able to envision myself being both a Kappa and a part of the sisterhood that they all shared. Hearing stories and talking to Kappas during recruitment showed me that this was a place I could feel at home and build lifelong connections and bonds. That's why I know that being a Kappa will always be part of my life.
